“Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome.”

Isaac Asimov

I read this quote and I thought…WOW, how completely and utterly true. Did it erase my fear of dying? Sadly no. But it did erase my fear of death. And there is an important distinction between the two. Namely one is an action and one is a noun. According to the quote the action is the troublesome area. And so I tried to think of the most pleasant and quickest way to die.

Believe it or not, I think that decapitation (if done right) would be the least painful and the quickest way to die, even though it is a horrifying act.

But think about it, one moment you’re alive and well; then about five seconds later you are through the troublesome transition and into the eternal peace.

The Key to gaining confidence is in the realization that the possible outcomes of the action are not as scary as you make them out to be.  Truely, in the considerations of the outcomes, you’ll see how silly it is for you to be balked by fear.

What is this fear caused by?

-Some say it’s the fear of rejection.  But after thinking about being rejected the fear is gone.  At worst you’ll just be negated and shunned for the rest of you’re life by one out of six billion.  Actually possible a group of people will shun you, but highly doubtful.

-It’s the fear of action.  DOING something is alot harder then just sitting back and NOT doing something.  It takes EFFORT, something many of us groan at doing.  And it takes energy.  Some of your own personal energy that could be spent doing other things…. like making money.

Time IS money and energy is related to time, therefore ENERGY is related to money.
~Q.E.D.

But even if you ARE using this energy to make money, one has to think which path is the MOST benificial.

There is a great quote that I can’t remeber exactly and I apologize to the author in advance if it’s mistaken a little, but the gist of it is that strangers are just FRIENDS waiting to happen.

Even if it doesn’t work out, nine times out of ten you’ll make a new friend, or at least a new acquaintance.

When walking someplace, you want to FEEL like you own the place, and everyone in there is EQUAL to you. (Not lower and not higher, wether pretty or not)  You have two pistols in your waist and are the COOLEST, baddest dude ever!  Play an UPLIFTING song in your head if you’re able and let it work it’s MAGIC.  Let the music FLOW through ever part of your being, right down to the very core.

With enough of a boost, you’ll feel like you can do anything.  And you CAN!

Go get them tiger!  gRRR.

buff bus

Nah, I’m not talking about mechanical problems. I’m talking about driving problems!!!

The drivers we have get so comfortable driving the big load of metal around that they forget there’s humans aboard as well.

I was standing in the center of the bus between people sitting on both sides of me when the driver does a sudden deceleration and wicked turn tossing me into someone’s lap.

Now this wouldn’t be so bad, except that is was a guy’s lap and I am a guy!!!

I don’t know how most of you would react to someone falling in your lap, but this guy; whew, just be glad you weren’t there. I could definitely tell he was NOT gay.

Anyhow, the rest of the ride I tried unsuccessfully to hide into……no where!!

Sometimes I just want to disappear.
